Horizon 29

Horizon 29 is a new development of industrial and distribution units in Bolsover, Derbyshire. It is a cutting-edge sustainable development. Designed and built to meet the highest standards of environmental performance, with BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A ratings. The main features include 20% EV charging points, renewable power sources, sustainably sourced materials and enhanced cladding systems. Located near the M1 j29 (A), which connects Sheffield and Nottingham. The project offers various sized units, ranging from 73,174 to 249,995 SQ FT, and is expected to be completed by Q4 2023. Horizon 29 is a joint venture by Equation Properties and Bentall Green Oak, two experienced logistics specialists.

NATIONWIDESAFETY

Horizon 29 has seen us successfully instal over 53000 sqm of safety netting, 2000m of edge protection and 130m of Haki stair towers for FK construction across 5 units. the eaves and verge details had a small parapet requiring the edge protection to be fixed to the top of the parapets on each unit. To install we used pots supplied by Ezi Klamp systems fixed to the steelwork to follow the projects specific design supplied by Creator scaffolded design. This complied with FASET guidance, BSEN 13374 as well as the necessary Working at heights and temporary work regulations.
